International Insurance Society Now Accepting 2024 Nominations for Prestigious Awards Program
New York, New York, Sept. 11, 2023: The International Insurance Society (IIS) is accepting nominations for the Insurance Hall of Fame, Vanguard Market Development Award, and Founder’s Award through Sept. 15, 2023. These awards are among the most prestigious in the insurance industry and will be presented at the Global Insurance Forum 2024.
IIS Honors program recipients are innovators and visionaries, inspiring others to recognize the crucial role insurance plays in meeting the security needs of a global society. Nominations are submitted by industry peers and evaluated for selection by the IIS Executive Council, a body of senior insurance executives and academics. The awards include:
Insurance Hall of Fame
Recognized as the premier award in the insurance industry, the Insurance Hall of Fame award is given to an individual who has made a broad, encompassing, and lasting contribution to the insurance industry, thereby affecting a substantial influence on the ability of the industry to serve society.
Vanguard Market Development Award
Established in 2020, the Vanguard Market Development Award recognizes those who have substantially advanced the development of insurance in an underserved market or emerging economy.
Founder's Award
Named in honor of IIS founder John S. Bickley, this prestigious award recognizes individuals who have made a significant and lasting contribution to insurance thought, product, practice, or education.
